Description
SMOK TFV Mini V2 S1 Coils: 0.15 Ohm Single Mesh
The SMOK TFV Mini V2 S1 coil is a 0.15Ω single-mesh coil that SMOK built for lower power: 40–80W, best at 60–70W. SMOK says it was custom made for its Stick-series batteries, focusing on intense flavour and clouds at lower wattage with a longer life span.
That makes the S1 the sensible everyday coil for the Mini V2 tank if you aren’t running a big dual-battery mod. It fits the same tank as the A-series coils, but asks roughly half the power of the A1 or A3.
SMOK’s Baby V2 S1 card: 0.15Ω single mesh, 40–80W, best 60–70W.

Mini V2 S1 vs S2: The Low-Wattage Pair
SMOK designed both S coils for Stick-series batteries. The difference is the build and the draw.
| Coil | Build | SMOK range | Draw |
|---|---|---|---|
| S1 (this page) | Single mesh | 40–80W, best 60–70W | Open |
| S2 | Quadruple coils | 30–70W, best 45–60W | More restricted |
White Vape Co recommends: 60–65W is the sweet spot on the S1. Our old listing suggested a particular PG/VG ratio; SMOK doesn’t, and in practice any 60–70% VG freebase works. If you want a tighter draw from the same tank, try the .
What Does the Mini V2 S1 Fit?
SMOK’s compatibility table lists the Mini V2 series for the TFV Mini V2 tank and for four kits: the Stick V9, Stick V9 Max, R-Kiss and Species. SMOK publishes an identical list for its Baby V2 series, because the TFV Mini V2 is the TFV8 Baby V2 tank under a new name.
For Stick V9 owners the S1 is the natural default. If you move the tank to a bigger mod later, the same tank will run the or as well.
Will not fit: the original TFV8 Baby, TFV8 Big Baby, TFV8 X-Baby or full-size TFV8. The V8 Baby coils for those tanks are shorter, and V8 Baby coils don’t fit a Mini V2 tank either.
How to Fit and Prime the S1
- Unscrew the empty tank from the device and open the base.
- Remove the old S1 and check the base seal is clean.
- Prime the mesh through the side ports until the cotton looks wet, not dripping.
- Screw in the new S1, rebuild and fill.
- Let it sit for five minutes; start at 45W and climb to 60W.
How Long Does a Mini V2 S1 Coil Last?
SMOK claims a longer life span for the S1, and because it runs at 60–70W instead of 110W+, it genuinely outlasts the A-series coils in our experience. Change it when the flavour dips and turning the power up doesn’t bring it back.
Mini V2 S1 Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| Muted at 40W | The bottom of SMOK’s range. Most people prefer 60W. |
| Hot, sharp hit | Above 75W. Come back down to SMOK’s best range. |
| Leaking from the base | Coil not screwed in fully, or the tank’s base seal is dirty. |
| Doesn’t fit | Check the tank: V8 Baby tanks need V8 Baby coils. |
